This position is located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and will support the F-35 Lightning II Program. The selected candidate will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for the day-to-day site security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Integrated Training Center (ITC) and/or F-35 Fighter Squadrons. This position is for the Security Information Specialist (SIS) operating at the direction of the Site Security Manager and Site Operations Manager on matters related to security duties within the Integrated Training Center. The SIS, in support of F-35 ITS, develops and conducts Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) briefings within the Collateral areas of the F-35 Academic Training Center (ATC) spaces. Responsibilities include providing initial security briefing for newly assigned personnel and initial security briefing to student classes. The SIS is the point of contact for: Government Common Access Card (CaC) applications and renewal applications; base entry for Lockheed Martin (LM) visitors to include sending and receiving Eglin Affidavits for all visitors; Defense Information System for Security (DISS) visits to Eglin AFB by LM personnel; processes AF Form 2586 for Restricted Area Badge for LM personnel. Conducts unit self-inspections as required. Performs tracking and control for all LM Security (Program and Cyber) Team Master Task Listing (MTL). Ensures accuracy of F-35 ATC Entry Authorization Point of Contact (EAPOC) listings and LM nominations. Coordinates LM Security entries into Security Management & Reporting Tool (SMART). Performs other duties as assigned. Due to the dynamic environment, the incumbent may be required support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as required. Some travel may be required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirement. Desired skills: 1.) Experience working on the F-35 Program. 2.) Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge. 3.) Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07. 4.) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 5.) Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting achieving common goals. Excellent written and verbal skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products. Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Employee will work on-site full-time. No telecommuting. First. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Non-standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 - $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
