Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a midlevel associate to its Palo Alto corporate group. This is a core M&A and general corporate role within a technology-focused practice that handles sophisticated transactions for growth-stage and established companies.
The group is known for advising on high-stakes deals in the tech ecosystem and for giving associates real responsibility early, including direct client exposure.
The Role You will work on public and private M&A, strategic investments, and general corporate matters tied closely to the technology sector. The practice advises on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and emerging company work. Associates are expected to run workstreams, engage directly with clients, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Candidate Profile
Class years 2018 to 2021
Meaningful experience handling M&A transactions
Strong foundation in corporate law with tech-sector exposure
Comfortable taking ownership of matters and interfacing with clients
Interest in building long‑term client relationships

Associates are trusted with responsibility, encouraged to develop business judgment, and supported in building a durable practice within a leading firm in this space. Compensation is competitive, with a current range of $310,000 to $420,000 plus bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
