Overview
Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Cypress QA Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Cypress QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications and APIs. Maintain and update automation framework and tools to keep them efficient and aligned with the latest technologies and requirements. Work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Integrate automation scripts into the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation-related issues and failures.
Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in Cypress. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for developing test scripts. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Hands‑on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps Test Plan or JIRA).
