Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, and plant fire systems. Provide support for facility maintenance and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) projects as needed.

Essential Functions Boiler Operations : Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, and related equipment. Plumbing : Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, adjust cooling tower systems, and regulate system flows as necessary. Mechanical : Ensure safe mechanical operation of boiler-related equipment throughout the facility. Security : Conduct security and maintenance rounds; provide backup coverage during site emergencies. Snow Removal : Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid-steers, snowplows) and perform manual snow removal, salting, and sanding to maintain safe walkways and parking areas. EHS Compliance : Perform audits, collect data, and complete monthly inspections of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fall protection gear, lifts, PPE, and GFI devices).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required : Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or chemical engineering, environmental technology, or related field; military experience accepted. Strong understanding of boiler systems, compressors, and fire safety systems. Hands-on experience in at least two of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical maintenance. Ability to handle hazardous waste and respond to related emergencies. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Teams. Preferred : Minimum 2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety. Minimum 2 years of boiler operation experience.

Physical Demands Ability to lift to 35 lbs., 70 lb.’s with assistance Frequent use of power tools. Extended periods of standing and walking.
