Job Overview This onsite position is available at Komatsu headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or near O’Hare in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on SAP ECC and S4 HANA systems related to Engineering Interfaces, Engineering Change Management, Variant Configuration, Classification and P2P integration for our global business units.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and continuously improve SAP ECC and S4 HANA solutions for engineering processes.

Partner with business leaders and functional teams to capture requirements, align on initiatives and communicate progress.

Act as a trusted advisor during the Project Monarch transformation (SAP S/4 HANA platform for Design to Operation) and interfaces to Plan to Deliver.

Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the AMS team, ensuring alignment with business strategy and best practices.

Evaluate current state applications; develop and lead initiatives to optimize solutions using AMS resources.

Build and maintain relationships with IT peers, AMS, cross‑functional teams, internal customers and suppliers.

Manage system change requests: design, configure, develop, document and log tickets in systems such as Cherwell or ServiceNow.

Develop detailed project tasks, lead configuration, testing, deployment and documentation for regional and global initiatives.

Lead D2O business process discussions for complex projects and coordinate global implementation activities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed specifications and identify process improvements.

Provide training to key users and lead data extraction, cleanup and load activities.

Work directly with AMS staff and external partners to support project deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.

8+ years of progressive SAP experience, including configuration, testing and support of Engineering and/or Production Planning modules.

Advanced knowledge of Engineering Change Management, interfaces, Materials, BOMs, Variant Configuration and classification.

Experience with MRP, Production, Workflow and enterprise integration (EDI, Cenit) is advantageous.

Solid understanding of software application architecture, relational database design, and SAP NetWeaver/Fiori fundamentals.

Project management experience; ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently.

Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational leadership.

Working knowledge of databases, applications and data integration interfaces.

Hiring Range Pay range: $160,000–$170,000, based on experience and location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, benefits and equity.
