Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
About the Role In this role, you will manage user accounts, maintain core collaboration and development tools, and provide support on network needs, security standards, and system performance. You’ll handle OS hardening, patching, and oversee multiple Linux environments while also providing tier 2/3 help desk support when necessary.
This role is a Panama Day Shift schedule: 12 hour shift schedule with full days off (example: Mon + Tues 6am-6pm, Wed + Thurs OFF)
Responsibilities
Manage several environments as a Linux Administrator providing overall support to the program and working with Enterprise Services to ensure compliance with security services and applications.
Responsible for user account management and infrastructure requirements.
Maintain program owned applications in support of a collaborative environment (JIRA, Atlassian, BitBucket, RocketChat)
Work to define network requirements, user metrics, maintenance of our PPSM, and support to development needs.
Responsible for infrastructure patching and OS baseline hardening
Support AWS cloud initiatives to support customer driven needs
Provide Tier 2/3 help desk support as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-4 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or similar technical role.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph if required.
Required Skills
Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience or understanding of Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.)
Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, network diagrams, data flows, etc.)
Experience working with Agile Team Collaboration tools such as (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
Linux background and familiarity with best practices of infrastructure management
