Base pay range $62.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Overview Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced ETL Data Engineer IV in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be local to Denver. The ETL Data Engineer IV is a senior-level individual contributor role supporting enterprise data migration and modernization efforts. This role requires deep technical experience and the ability to operate independently in complex data environments while helping ensure a smooth transition to a new Snowflake architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex SQL development and optimization efforts

Rebuild and migrate ETL pipelines, data connections, and database objects

Support large-scale data migration into a Snowflake environment

Apply best practices in data warehousing and database architecture

Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and performance issues

Partner with data engineering, analytics, and technical stakeholders

Contribute to standards and technical consistency across data platforms

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

7-10 years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or a related field

Advanced, daily-use SQL expertise

Strong experience with complex joins and advanced query logic

Proficiency in Python for scripting and data interaction

Strong background in ETL processes and data processing frameworks

Experience working with data warehouse platforms and data architecture

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift, or similar platforms

Exposure to Apache-based tools, PySpark, AWS Glue, or comparable ETL frameworks

Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab)

Experience supporting or enabling data visualization tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
