7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Part Time; Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
Pay Range:
$30.65 – $37.58 per hour (New Jersey)
Job Overview A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during, and after surgery.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of an OR Technician training program
2–3 years of experience
Strong knowledge of scrubbing various service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Ability to make calls, flexible, multitask, and work independently
Certifications and Licenses Required
Certified Surgical Technician (required)
NBSTSA Certification (required)
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association)
