Job Summary Oversee daily operations within a manufacturing unit to ensure efficiency, product quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Responsible for managing production schedules, supervising team members, and implementing continuous process improvements. Ensures all personnel strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
As an Operations Manager, You Will:
Supervise production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
Ensure the health and safety of all employees on the production floor
Verify team compliance with batch record specifications and documentation requirements
Maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
Train, mentor, and support production staff; address employee issues and concerns as they arise
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance safety
Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and production disruptions
Maintain employee timekeeping records, approve vacation requests, and schedule overtime as needed
Assign staff to appropriate roles based on skills, experience, and operational needs
Reconcile work orders for accuracy and financial review
Perform additional duties as required by location or operational needs
Skills and Requirements
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
1-3 years of prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
1-3 years of experience working in an FDA-regulated environment (preferred)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in the following: Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering
