Job Summary Responsible for leading and overseeing all encapsulation production activities, ensuring efficient operations across all shifts. This role supervises a team of encapsulation technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance management to maintain high production standards.
As an Encapsulation Manager, You Will
Responsible for the continuous improvement of the department and suggesting areas for investment and process change.
Primary day to day objective is to troubleshoot across the department ensuring efficiency and quality of outputs to ensure Encapsulation Machines are running to capacity.
Create, review, understand and routinely adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Conducts daily start of shift department meetings encouraging dialogue, de-briefs, organization assessment and needs
Works closely with other Production Supervisors and Managers, supports training sessions and performs follow-ups with staff to improve SOPS as the routine standard.
Identify areas of concern for safety and address issues by implementing change.
Ensure all personnel are trained in proper documentation and all documentation is filled out legibly and correctly. Including the effectiveness of training facilitated by the department leaders.
Direct all encapsulation techs in their operations for the successful completion of their assignments.
Perform other duties as needed.
Skills and Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
At least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role
Skilled at adjusting machine controls accurately and repeatedly
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 500 lbs using equipment
Capable of standing for full work shifts
Comfortable working in a production environment with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and lifting
Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience
