Hybrid Substance Use Counselor – Groups Recover Together

Responsibilities
Lead 2–3 one‑hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence‑based curriculum.
Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
Support a positive, recovery‑oriented environment for members.
Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
Qualifications
Salary range: $58,000–$81,000 per year (based on experience and education).
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Active, fully independent WA license: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT and/or Certified SUDP.
Minimum two years’ experience leading groups in a SUD setting.
High comfort level with technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products, mobile apps, etc.
Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
Ability to work 2–3 evenings per week up to 9 p.m. as needed.
Preferred backgrounds include mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication‑assisted treatment (MAT).
