2nd Shift | Monday‑Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (possible weekend OT),$27.00 - $27.50/hr
The Lab Technician supports plant operations by preparing and testing samples, recording results, and ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires the use of lab instruments, computerized systems, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare process and finished product samples for testing.
Perform analytical testing using wet chemistry and lab instruments.
Record and report results using LIMS and other data systems.
Monitor production processes and recommend quality adjustments.
Maintain lab equipment through light maintenance and calibration.
Ensure testing supplies are stocked and notify supervisor when needed.
Maintain accurate records and clean, organized work areas.
Follow all safety and regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, BATF, EPA, OSHA).
Preferred Experience
Reliable attendance and strong safety record.
Experience with lab documentation, standard lab equipment, and plant operations.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and lab software.
Math skills for lab calculations.
Requirements
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively.
Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Accurate record‑keeping and housekeeping skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
