Day Shift Charge RN – Observation Unit
Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a Day Shift Charge RN to join our 37‑bed Observation Unit on STC‑2. This 636‑bed specialty teaching hospital is the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.
Schedule Full‑time – 36 hours per week – Days.
Unit Summary The Observation Unit serves adults and geriatrics, diagnosing, monitoring and treating patients within 36 hours. Scope of service includes:
Chest pain
Congestive heart failure (CHF)
Syncope
Dehydration
Abdominal‑gastrointestinal conditions

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate
Graduate of an accredited RN school (ADN required; BSN preferred)
Active RN license
Minimum of 6 months RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
Additional Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing
2 years of nursing experience
