Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Document all maintenance activities and provide regular updates to the supervisor regarding job progress.
Adhere to environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping standards always.
Actively participate in and support the plant’s Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program.
Perform additional tasks assigned to meet operational needs.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man-lifts, and electric carts when required.
Required Qualification and Experience:
High school diploma or GED diploma
Excellent oral and written communication skills
5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
Able to use tools and measuring equipment
Must be able to communicate clearly in spoken and written word in English
