Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for assuring that all of the day to day activities for the provision of pharmaceutical care at their campus are carried out in full accordance with all Federal and State laws, rules and regulations. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist assists the Director of Pharmacy in the input of orders, supervision and control of all activities of the Pharmacy Department in support of the goals and objectives of their facility and Dignity Health's mission and vision.
Position Summary The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical care activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the organization’s policies, supporting the mission and vision of Dignity Health.
Job Requirements Minimum Requirements
CA Registered Pharmacist License
Good working knowledge of a unit dose system and IV admixture program, including TPN and nutrition issues
Proficient clinical abilities, including pharmacokinetics and medication dosing
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Preferred
Pharmacist experience
Hospital experience

Mercy Hospital Downtown is a 194-bed facility located in downtown Bakersfield. Mercy Hospital Southwest is a 78-bed facility and the only hospital located in the rapidly growing area west of Highway 99. Mercy Hospital is a member of Dignity Health and is a trusted community partner, serving residents of Bakersfield and Kern County with quality, compassionate care since 1910.
Pay Range $69.41 - $103.25 /hour
