Associate Polysomnographer – Sleep Lab
Providence St. Patrick Hospital – Missoula, MT (On-site, Full-time, Night shift)
Description The Associate Polysomnographer performs adult and pediatric comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions, including CPAP, Bi-level, ASV, and O2 titration, under the general oversight of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, and/or the Lab Supervisor, Lab Manager or designee.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive polysomnographic testing for adult and pediatric patients.
Analyze data and provide interventions including CPAP, Bi-level, ASV, and O2 titration.
Operate under oversight of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Lab Supervisor, Lab Manager, or designee.
Assist in oversight of Polysomnographic Trainees when assigned.
Required Qualifications
National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association upon hire.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: CRT or RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Within 1 year of hire: Pass RPSGT from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS) from NRBC.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree.
1 year of customer service experience.
1 year of healthcare experience.
