These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
These roles focus on the preparation, performance, and post-operative support to surgical teams. Responsibilities include sterilization, instrument preparation and handling, and/or operational or hands‑on support required during surgery. May work in our hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics, and have responsibilities from planning and preparation to recovery and follow‑up. Does not include Perioperative Nurses.
Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience.
Seasoned individual contributor. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems are typically non‑routine and require analysis to understand. Makes minor adjustments to working methods and independently develops solutions to problems. Explains practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the Job Area.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience required. Experience as CNA, EMT, PCT or CMA highly preferred.
Licensure: BLS Certification required. Additional certifications/licensure may be required for the position. Please see position requisition for specific requirements.
Physical Demands Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50lbs. Working in environment with fumes, chemicals, vibrations, heat, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
Position Compensation Range: $19.88 - $30.81 Hourly
