RN Med‑Surg Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Hourly Wage Estimate:

$38.34 - $57.56 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for Med Surg Telemetry. In this role you will collaborate with other members of the management team to ensure and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

You will exercise judgement and provide direction regarding patient care assignments using established policies/procedures.

You will operationalize evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.

You will assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient, high‑quality patient‑centered care.

You will reflect core values when interacting with co‑workers, patients, family members, and others in the community to foster employee engagement and unparalleled patient care.

You will support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by participating in initiatives including employee rounding, hourly rounds, etc.

You will function as a resource person for staff members providing coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

You will recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively superior organization.

You will assist with staff scheduling and support proper inventory control of supplies and equipment and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.

Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Nevada.

Associate’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred.

1+ year applicable experience preferred.

Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.

Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required within 6 months of hire.
