A hybrid schedule with mostly onsite work and one day remote work per week. The role is full‑time (40 hours/week), and duties are assigned to elementary school students.
Position Overview The Denton ISD seeks a speech‑language pathologist to provide school‑based speech and language services, aligning care with IEP goals and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay $40+ per hour, based on experience
Position Details
Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Daily hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Start date: ASAP (5/22/2025)
Work type: 4 days onsite, 1 WFH per week
Student population: Elementary school students
Caseload: Based on assignment
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Active or eligible Texas SLP license
School‑based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring as needed
Attend and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
