Field Service Technician II – Technical Support
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (rotating on-call responsibilities; overtime possible)
Travel: Extensive driving between assigned client locations; mileage fully reimbursed

Position Overview The Field Service Technician II – Technical Support role is based in Tucson, AZ (85757) and provides primarily on-site, with limited remote, IT support. This is a hands-on field technician position that requires daily travel to multiple customer locations to deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. All service-level agreements (SLAs) must be met within a 4–6 hour response window.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support for network and wireless infrastructure, access points, computers, kitchen display systems, and digital boards
Perform hardware and software diagnostics, break/fix, and IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services to minimize downtime
Support general IT needs across multiple client environments (restaurants, retail locations, banks, etc.)
Maintain SLA compliance and provide timely, detailed updates in the ticketing system
Plan efficient daily routes and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
Deliver outstanding customer service with professional communication to staff and management
Complete administrative and training tasks remotely as required
Required Skills and Experience
2–5 years of relevant IT or field service experience preferred (training provided for qualified candidates with less experience)
Strong hands-on hardware repair experience (printers, PCs, POS systems)
Experience with ticketing systems and break/fix troubleshooting
Basic networking knowledge (wired and wireless)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Preferred Certifications and Experience
CompTIA A+ certification (preferred, not required)
Experience or certification in laser printer, plotter, or formatter hardware repair is a plus
Experience with OEM PCs including Dell, HP, and Lenovo highly desirable
Ability to successfully complete required technical training and certification upon hire
