Fiber Optic Instructor Technician Location

January 2026 What's the Job?
Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables, including single-mode, multi-mode, and ribbon fiber. Build and maintain fiber splice closures to ensure reliable connections. Test and troubleshoot fiber using OTDRs, power meters, and other testing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Install and maintain Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) equipment such as ONTs, NIDs, and routers at customer locations. What's Needed?
Solid knowledge of outside plant fiber systems and fiber optic principles. Ability to interpret network diagrams and splicing instructions accurately. Strong problem-solving, communication, and training skills. What's in it for me?
