Our client, a leading organization in the technology and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Global Revenue team.
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be an essential partner supporting the revenue recognition cycle across various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication abilities, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
Support annual and quarterly revenue forecasting and analysis for management reporting
Review large sales transactions to ensure accurate revenue recognition and deferred revenue recording based on contractual terms
Complete monthly revenue accounting and closing responsibilities
Communicate technical issues related to revenue accounting to stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, checklists, and control documentation in compliance with relevant standards
Qualifications
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP (ASC 606/IFRS 15)
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Apollo is a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude with a sense of ownership
