Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and manage the company's receivables and collections functions. This role is responsible for maintaining customer account accuracy, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring timely collections.
Key Responsibilities
Collect revenue by managing the invoicing process, resolving missed payments, handling collections, updating financial records, sending out statements, renewal notices, and supervising staff.
Lead the AR team: hire, train, assign, schedule, coach, and discipline employees.
Meet operational standards by contributing to strategic plans, implementing productivity and quality standards, and identifying system improvements.
Contact customers to investigate non-payment, negotiate, and expedite payment.
Coordinate daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
Uphold internal accounting controls and ensure financial integrity.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company financial information in accordance with regulations.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or business management.
5+ years of experience in accounting, billing, or AR department.
Previous management experience.
Familiarity with financial/accounting software, Excel, and forecasting.
Strong leadership, time and process management, and analytical skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail, integrity, and discretion.
Typing, computing, and data entry proficiency.
Strong financial understanding of business principles.
Experience with PestPac is a plus.
Work Hours 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday.
