Overview Project Designer at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company.
Key Activities Include
Drawing piping isometrics issued for construction using CADWorx.
Job walks, field measurements.
Compiling bills of materials.
Drawing structural steel and concrete foundation designs using AutoCAD.
Climbing ladders, going up into pipe racks, and wearing fall protection.
This position requires organization and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and production requirements.
Performs other duties as required and needed.
Qualifications
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Please review eligibility criteria at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic.
High School diploma or GED, required.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, structural, or civil engineering preferred.
Minimum 3 years of design experience in refining or manufacturing required.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office suite programs including Word, Excel, and Access required.
Proficient in AutoCAD, minimum of 3 years of experience required.
Minimum 2 years of CADWorx experience preferred.
