Key Activities
Responsible for precision machining of refinery equipment and parts using shop tools (lathe, milling machine, etc.)
Works with refinery operators, shop supervisors, planners, other mechanics, maintenance reliability group and engineering to perform analytical troubleshooting of machinery failures.
Involved in all aspects of removing, repairing, and installing refinery machinery in both a field and shop environment.
Requires training and operation of utility equipment such as a forklift and manlift.
Assists in all general craft of maintenance as workload requires.
Ensures compliance with all refinery environmental, health and safety standards.
Responsible for assembling tools and materials.
Follows directions from supervisors and maintains housekeeping of the shop and work area.
Communicates clearly and effectively with others, both in written and verbal forms.
Demonstrates reliability and engagement in organizational goals, maintaining high standards of personal performance, professional growth and attendance.
Fosters trusting relationships with co‑workers and cross‑functional work areas.

Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications Legal authority to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship is required. Successful applicants must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Eligibility criteria can be reviewed at

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two (2) years of completed trade school or equivalent, preferred.
Five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic, Machinist, or Boilermaker preferred.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
Maintain an active TWIC credential.
Location Kapolei (Campbell Industrial Park), Kapolei, O’ahu, Hawaii.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $34.05–$44.38 per hour.
