Responsibilities:
Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promote the optimal health, well‑being and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Direct GI experience required.
Shifts:
Typical schedule: 0700‑1730, volume dependent.
Call requirements: 1 weeknight (Mon‑Fri) 1700‑0700 (14 hrs), 2 holidays a year 0700‑0700 (24 hrs), every 4th weekend 0700‑0700 (24 hrs). PRN requires a minimum availability for 5 shifts in a 6‑week schedule block and 2 holidays per year.
Job Requirements:
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement accepted; Bachelor’s preferred; Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates.
Experience: One year experience preferred; nursing skills and knowledge specific to specialty.
Licenses/Certification: RN license required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
Physical: Medium work—exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.
Where You’ll Work: CommonSpirit Mountain Region—St. Anthony North Health Campus. The campus includes integrated primary and specialty care clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center, a Level III trauma center with 24/7 emergency services, 92 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center. The hospital received Magnet® designation in 2023.
Pay Range: $33.15 – $53.04 per hour.
