Job Summary Provide high quality oncology, orthopedics, and medical/surgical care to 24–30 post‑surgical patients daily. Work on a weekend‑option schedule with a differential of $10/hr for Saturday and Sunday shifts. Commitment: 6 months on a weekend schedule. Relocation assistance up to $8,000 and a sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 are available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following the nursing process and state regulations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Document care accurately and advocate for patient safety.
Adhere to institutional policies, Magnet® standards, and the Clinical Career Ladder.
Embod[e] nursing core values and the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing (required) – Nursing Diploma or endorsed degree acceptable; Bachelor preferred.
Accredited School of Nursing graduate (required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs).
One year RN experience required; specialty skills in medical‑surgical/oncology preferred.
Active RN license in Colorado (or a Compact state).
Medium physical requirements: lift 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.
Weekend Option Commitment Six‑month commitment to a weekend schedule. $10/hr weekend differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
