Position Details Hours:
36hrs per week Shift:
Evening/Night, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am with weekend and holiday rotation Location:
Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA
Unit Description Atwood 3 is a 5‑bed primary surgical nursing unit with subspecialties of general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology and vascular surgeries, as well as interventional radiology procedures. It is also a bariatric surgical center of excellence. The patient population is primarily elective surgical cases received from the recovery room and ranges in age from pediatric through geriatric. Basic arrhythmia detection via wireless telemetry is provided for the surgical patient population. The average length of stay is 3 days.

$12,000 New Hire Sign‑On for 3+ years of experience
$10,000 New Hire Sign‑On for 1–3 years of experience
$7,500 New Hire Sign‑On for less than 1 year of experience
Rehires with greater than 1 year are eligible for a bonus

Responsibilities Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or unit designee, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient‑team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient‑care unit. You will apply the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent (required)
Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required)
BLS certification (required)
Three (3) months experience preferred
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption after hire
Compensation Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range:
USD $40.74–$73.18 per hour.
