Job Summary & Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver patient‑centered care in accordance with department requirements and state standards.
Use nursing models (“Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage”) to provide comprehensive, compassionate care.
Advocate for patients/families/caregivers and model organizational values to support clinical outcomes.
Assess patient pain, perform ordered procedures, document care promptly.
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
Educate patients/families on condition, treatment, medications, and follow‑up; translate complex terminology.
Provide education on non‑medicinal measures such as diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 18 months.
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS‑ALS) within 6 months.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months.
Registered Nurse (RN). Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
