Atrium Health/Wake Forest University is recruiting a full‑time subspecialty PA or NP to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina. This role focuses on surgical care and chemotherapy for patients with cancers of the uterus, ovary, cervix, vulva, and vagina, as well as management of pre‑cancerous conditions and complex benign gynecologic disorders.
Responsibilities
Outpatient evaluation and assessment of patients with gynecological malignancies
Develop an independent patient panel consisting of surveillance visits, chemotherapy visits, and peri‑operative visits in collaboration with faculty gynecologic oncologists
Opportunity to cross‑cover inpatient and operating room settings to expand skillset
Perform procedures such as IUD insertion, endometrial biopsy, and colposcopy
Attend weekly divisional educational conferences such as pre‑operative review and tumor board
Educate learners, with opportunities for national conference attendance (e.g., IPPS foundations course)
