First Command Financial Advisors coach military families in their pursuit of financial security. Our reputation has been built on shaping positive financial behaviors through face‑to‑face coaching with military families.

What Our Financial Advisors Do

The personal coach to our nation’s military families, focused on evolving financial plans that meet short‑term and long‑term goals.

Help military families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected.

Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, with the support of the local district team and Home Office.

Engage directly with the military community by partnering with local military organizations, units, and other supporting institutions.

Coach military families on building a comprehensive financial plan that includes:

Savings / banking

Investments / wealth management

Insurance / risk management

What We Offer

Specialized licensing and comprehensive training program for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses.

Full registration and licensing sponsorship, including preparation and testing for SIE, S6, S63, S65 and state Life & Health licenses.

Paid training program with a local district office for up to nine months.

Initial hourly wage for first three months, then transition to salaried position with progressive incentives.

What To Expect After Training

Opportunity to become an independent contractor Financial Advisor, controlling career trajectory and compensation.

No cap on earning potential: compensation based on commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.

Professional development through leadership programs, classroom training and annual workshops.

Set your own schedule and portable career opportunities statewide.

Desired Qualifications

Military experience or affiliation.

Bachelor’s degree.

Proven leadership skills.
