Controller

High-growth SaaS company is searching for a strategic Controller. This role will be the right-hand to the CFO and will be responsible for building out processes & scaling the accounting function to support the companies growth. Overseeing a small team (Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant), the Controller will oversee GL, month end close, financial reporting, and revenue recognition. Ideal candidate has strong system skills, experience leading a software implementation, and excellent process improvement experience. This role reports to a CFO who is interested in mentoring and developing this Controller, giving the opportunity to get involved in fundraising, working with investors, and potential to grow to a VP of Finance level, overseeing FP&A. The company is in a unique stage, incredibly well-funded, in growth-mode, and well positioned for an IPO in ~3 years time. Compensation will include base + equity.
