About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to join a fast-paced, high-growth, Series C company. This key finance leader will oversee the full accounting function—including AP, AR, GL, revenue recognition, payroll, tax and compliance, as well as procurement, order management, and equity administration.
This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and systems-savvy accounting leader with public accounting roots and experience in a scaling SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, equity, tax, and compliance.
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financials.
Manage revenue recognition and partner cross-functionally to scale consumption-based billing, including overage calculations and usage-based metrics.
Drive automation and scalability in the order-to-cash process from contract signing through billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
Background in both public accounting and in-house accounting/controllership at a high-growth SaaS or enterprise software company.
Deep understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, and internal controls.
