Job Overview This is a job description for field-grown production, harvest, culture and care of nursery-grown products. You will typically be exposed to dust, dirt, heat, cold, fumes, noise, vibration and water. Physical tasks include lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating/grasping, carrying, pushing, shoveling, bending, twisting, climbing and squatting. All tasks in this job description constitute one job; the employer may assign workers to different tasks on any day or to multiple tasks during the same day. Employees must perform the assigned work and may not perform duties not included herein or work in areas not assigned without the specific authorization of the manager or supervisor.

Work Hours & Compensation 36 hours per week Monday through Saturday, 6 hours per day from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The contract period is from February 26, 2026 to May 29, 2026. Recruiting will end 04/13/2026. Crop and Pay General Nursery Work $17.13 per hour.

Job Requirements

2 months of previous work experience

Willing to commit to the entire contract period

Be able, willing and qualified to perform the work

Willing to work in extreme temperatures

Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day

Willing to make repetitive movements

Extensive pushing and pulling

Extensive walking and stooping

Must anticipate being available to work on the start date and through the period of the contract

Must be able to perform all duties within this job description in a safe manner adhering to all established orchard safety guidelines, practices and procedures

Must wear all required and assigned personal protective equipment at all times when required. Proper clothing and footwear depend on the season; all footwear must be closed-toed and durable for safety precautions

Job Tasks (English)

Field and cultivate seedlings; harvest, culture, and care of nursery-grown products.

Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, shoveling, bending, twisting, climbing, and squatting.

Operate agricultural equipment such as tractors and harvesters; attach implements and drive tractors to prepare, plant, and spray crops.

Mix and apply specific chemicals or products in planting or spraying machines.

Maintain and service machinery; notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.

Drive trucks to transport crops and seeds from fields to farm storage buildings.

Tareas Laborales (Español)

Plantar, cultivar, regar y cosechar cultivos, incluidos patatas, coles de Bruselas y cereales.

Conducir y operar equipos agrícolas utilizados en la producción agrícola, como tractores y cosechadoras.

Conectar implementos agrícolas como arados, discos y taladros a los tractores y conducirlos en el campo para labrar, plantar y rociar cultivos.
