Roles and Responsibilities
Administrative Course Assistant
– Assist course professors in grading papers, case studies, discussion boards, ATI or educational resource submissions; perform all administrative work in a timely manner; act as a role model for professional nursing; with notice, proctor live exams (on campus); submit a biweekly report of activity to the Student Success Coach; communicate in a professional and timely manner with course professors, staff, and students.
Tutoring Course Assistant
– Keep regular, in‑person office hours as outlined in the contract; oversee all recitation sessions via in‑person instruction according to the schedule of classes; provide small‑group and individual tutoring related to course content, test taking, and student success strategies; provide exam reviews at the direction and request of course professors; when needed, proctor live exams (on campus); act as a role model for professional nursing; communicate in a professional and timely manner with course professors, staff, and students; submit a biweekly report of activity to the Student Success Coach.
