Financial Analyst 1 – Troy, NY – FT Days
Full time, Day Shift. This is not a remote position; candidates must be able to work in the office.

What You Will Do The Financial Analyst will assist the Director of Finance – Continuing Care with activities supporting the Financial Operations for the Continuing Care Division, which includes 6 Nursing Homes and 6 Independent Living Facilities. Responsibilities include revenue entries, financial statement preparation, and other month‑end tasks; revenue account reconciliations, and analysis related to improving the financial operations of the facilities, including annual forecast, audit and cost reporting.
Responsibilities
Preparation of month‑end revenue analysis
Preparation and analysis of revenue reconciliations
Preparation of various monthly accounts receivable valuations
Provide support with the annual audit process
Assist in preparation and analysis of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
Assist in the quarterly budgeting process
Profitability analysis
Productivity analysis
What You Will Need (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare finance setting (preferred)
Strong proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions
Strong accounting, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working with large data sets
Ability to multi‑task and prioritize projects/workflow
Ability to develop and assist in implementing process improvements
Requirements All new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre‑employment screening requirements for safety and security.
Pay Range: $25.00 – $39.16 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
