Prestwick Country Club is the centerpiece of a mature, prestigious real estate development in Frankfort, Illinois (25 miles south of Chicago). The club, whose golf course was designed by Packard Inc., was originally developer-owned when it opened in 1964. In 1983, the club's 218 charter members purchased the club, and today Prestwick Country Club remains owned by its equity members.
The golf course has undergone several renovations and improvements over the years. The most recent member-approved project, Wick 2.0, includes a covered patio, a new irrigation system, the addition of the Billy Bunker system to fairway bunkers, and a western expansion that updates the golf shop as well as both the men's and ladies' locker rooms.
Prestwick Country Club offers its members and their guests one of the finest exclusive golfing, dining, and entertainment environments in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago. Hickory Creek meanders gracefully through the fairways, creating a natural hazard that perfectly tests each golfer's skill and nerve. The course features a four-tee system ranging from 7,010 yards to 5,428 yards, inviting golfers of all abilities, genders, and ages to enjoy an 18-hole championship golf experience.
Additional amenities include a full practice range, a newly renovated short-game area, and full-service locker rooms. Prestwick Country Club is a regional club with members from the southern and western suburbs of Chicago. It is a very family-oriented club with a mission: 'To provide an outstanding experience for our members and ourselves...Your Place, Your Pace.'
Prestwick Country Club is in the happiness business. We strive to be the finest full-service, family-oriented private golf and country club in the Chicagoland area, offering a variety of membership classifications to ensure that membership at Prestwick Country Club is the perfect complement to our members' lifestyles.
