To coordinate, facilitate and manage the caddie program of independent contractor caddies. To communicate, coordinate the daily scheduling of caddies, coordination of Caddie Services as well as suggesting methods of how to provide the best caddie services, while providing excellent communication and guest service.
To assist the Golf Operation team(s) by facilitating and coordinating the monitor of play time on the courses. To assist Golf Operations with daily updates of caddie scheduling so that the Golf Operations can coordinate with Caddie Services in the service of the guests.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the scheduling and introduction of caddies to groups. Lead and coordinate a team of Assistants, Course Coordinators and Player Assistants to ensure our guests’ play time meets or exceeds the expectations in golf course experience. Communicate to our guests the different caddie services, the function/performance of those services and caddie fees. Be a liaison between Streamsong, the guests and the caddie program. Providing excellent communication with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professionals, any other department managers and our guests. Guiding and managing Independent Contractor Caddies to perform within the guidelines set forth by the Director of Caddie Service and Streamsong. Qualifications
Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision. Work flexible hours as required including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Have prior experience as either a Director Of Caddie Services, Caddie Master, professional caddie or working at a golf facility with a caddie program. Good tracking and forecasting the future needs of caddie services based on analytics of tee sheet bookings. Good communication skills, both written and spoken. Good problem solving skills to ensure that our employees, IC caddies and guests are all having their expectations met in the experience of Streamsong Resort. Good computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and EZ-Links tee sheet software and/or Agilisys tee sheet and caddie scheduling software Demonstrated experience and capability in the area of staff management and customer service/guest relations. Demonstrated leadership. Proficiency with computer software including word processing. Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all. Education: Bachelors or better. Experience: Minimum 5 years managing experience in golf/caddie industry.
