Furniture / Interior Design / Commercial Workspaces (must be a USC/Green Card Holder)
About the Role We are seeking an experienced, field-based Furniture Interior Designer to support strategic sales initiatives with a focus on Casegoods and Collaboration (Wood) product applications. You will work directly with clients, dealers, architects, and sales teams to deliver thoughtful, innovative, and space-optimized furniture solutions.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives as a problem solver, communicator, and trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with client teams and stakeholders to design, space plan, and specify systems and freestanding furniture solutions
Translate customer needs and abstract ideas into clear, compelling digital renderings
Lead showroom visits, informal design sessions, and client presentations
Support strategic selling by crafting distinctive workplace solutions using wood and collaborative products
Coordinate large, complex projects with cross-functional internal and external teams
Travel throughout the Dallas region to consult on key client opportunities
Qualifications
3–6+ years of experience as a Corporate Interior Designer in a design firm or dealer environment
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (preferred; relevant experience considered)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or CET Designer
Strong project management and communication skills
Comfort presenting to clients and managing multiple priorities
A positive, collaborative spirit with a passion for continuous learning
Contract Details
1-Year Contract with potential for Temp-to-Perm based on performance and business needs
Competitive hourly rate starting at $38+
Hybrid role with regional travel in the Dallas area
