Sr. Capital Accounts Manager Position Summary The Senior Capital Account Manager is responsible for selling process & wastewater capital equipment and solutions to assigned industrial markets critical to the organization in terms of sales volume or market share growth, acting as the single point of contact for customers in an assigned territory (West). The focus is on driving revenue and client retention by building consultative relationships, understanding customer industry and business needs, and offering bold and innovative solutions.
Core Responsibilities & Tasks
Contact both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business.
Create and deliver quotes and proposals to customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Accurately record information in CRM for forecasting.
Stay up-to-date on company and customer technology to influence BID specifications.
Facilitate new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.).
Handle extremely complex sales of products and services utilizing strong product, service, and industry knowledge to recommend best solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements Formal Education BS/BA or Masters in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Experience
10+ years of sales experience and wastewater treatment industry related experience.
Advanced individual contributor with mastery of sales techniques.
Strong communication skills and ability to complete sales with no supervision.
Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers.
Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable for company business travel.
Travel Requirements 50% to 60% travel.
Salary The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 plus sales incentives. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
