The Senior Software Development Engineer in our Revenue Management group will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and demonstrating new software features and components across both front-end and back-end systems to ensure compliance with requirements. This role involves assisting in the design, implementation, and optimization of related approaches, tools, and workflows, while collaborating closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and product managers to ensure developed code aligns with their vision and meets functional and technical requirements. The engineer will adhere to security and compliance frameworks, maintain a strong quality posture, and implement automated tests prior to coding. Additional responsibilities include developing delivery pipelines, creating automated deployment scripts, configuring services such as databases and monitoring tools, and implementing Site Reliability Engineering practices. The position also requires troubleshooting issues from development through production and participating in on-call rotations for production support.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Proven expertise in Java/J2EE development with strong troubleshooting skills.
Hands‑on experience in full‑stack cloud‑native development, including RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Extensive experience deploying applications in AWS with deep knowledge of AWS services.
Practical experience working with Kubernetes and ROSA container environments.
Strong background in Oracle database management and development.
Familiarity with data streaming and processing technologies, including Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Apache NiFi.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Experience in Containers, Kubernetes, Docker and frameworks like OpenShift.
Experience with automation and test tools (Postman, Mockito, SonarQube)
Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS) and application migration to cloud
Experience with test driven development
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science/Engineering related discipline
