About the role We're looking for a Director, Strategic Business Transformation & Operations to serve as the right hand to the SVP of Business Transformation and Operations. You'll help turn strategy into clear priorities, focused initiatives, and tangible results, bringing focus to what matters most and keeping leaders aligned around the highest‑impact work. This hands‑on individual contributor role is for someone who values solving complex problems, working across teams, and driving change at scale. You'll turn ambiguity into action and help us move faster with clarity and focus.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the SVP and senior leaders to define and communicate company priorities

Synthesize complex business information into clear, compelling narratives for leadership forums, SMT, and all‑hands

Advise on content and messaging for high‑visibility communications

Plan and run key forums such as town halls, all‑hands, executive offsites, and leadership meetings

Build processes that improve collaboration, accountability, and follow‑through, removing friction across teams

Track and report on strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery and measurable impact

Establish accountability, flag risks and dependencies early, and maintain visibility across major transformation efforts

Develop briefings, presentations, and talking points that prepare the SVP for key meetings and decisions

Embed company values and BTO norms into daily operations and leadership behaviors

Partner with HR and functional leaders to strengthen engagement, performance, and organizational health

Lead cross‑functional initiatives and pilots to solve complex challenges, improve operations, and test new ideas

Own the operational budget for the segment, partnering with leaders on annual planning and leading monthly and quarterly reviews

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.

You have 12+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in management consulting focused on strategy, operations, or transformation

You have experience in media, technology, or streaming environments

You have experience supporting large‑scale business transformation or operational improvement efforts

You have experience leading complex, cross‑functional work from idea to delivery

You handle ambiguity well and can bring structure and clarity when balancing multiple priorities

You think analytically, stay organized, communicate clearly, and use data and metrics to guide decisions

You have succeeded at working directly with senior leaders, earning trust, and influencing decisions

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time‑off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
