R-100572**Job Description:****Job Summary:**The Senior Accounting Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for driving the monthly close, ensuring GAAP compliant financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and elevating accounting operations across multiple entities. This role partners closely with Operations, Treasury, AP/AR, Payroll, and IT to streamline processes and provide timely, decision ready insights to leadership. It is ideal for a manager who enjoys both leading a team and owning complex technical accounting areas.**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:****Month-End Close & General Ledger*** Multi-entity Monthly closings and delivery accurate timely results* Prepare, Review complex journal entries, accruals, account reconciliation, and consolidations* Resolve variances and drive continuous improvements**Financial Reporting*** Prepare and review financial statements; produce variance analysis with operational narratives for leadership* Partner with FP&A to strengthen reporting, automation, improving accuracy and timeliness.**Audit & Compliance*** Coordinate internal and external audits, mange audit requests, schedules* Ensure adherence to GAAP, update and enforce accounting policies across all business units.**ERP Implementation*** Participated in ERP system implementation and upgrades.* Ensure accurate data migration and integration with financial processes.* Provide feedback on system functionality and assist with user training.**ROU Fixed Asset Accounting*** Oversee lease accounting (ASC 842 including ROU asset schedules, amortization and disclosures.* Manage fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, depreciation and roll-forwards.* Reconcile fixed asset accounts and support related audits.**Tax*** Prepare and review sales & use tax, property tax, franchise\CAT tax

and other compliance filings.* Assist with tax accruals and reconciliations.* Support external tax advisors and ensure timely submissions.**Process Improvement*** Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.* Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.**Cross-Functional Collaboration*** Work closely with operations, procurement, and project teams on cost tracking and job profitability.* Provide accounting support for OEM programs and related initiatives.**Working Conditions:*** Open office environment.* Hybrid, 3 days onsite* Some overtime required as special projects arise.* Minimal Travel**Minimum Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance* 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading teams.* Experience may be substituted for education* Strong command of U.S. GAAP, close cycles, consolidations and audit preparation.* Advanced Excel; familiarity with data/reporting tool.* Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex topics clearly.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience in multi-entity, multi-site environments (construction, field services, HVAC or manufacturing.* Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Solomon a plus.* Prior involvement in WIP accounting and management.* Experience in consolidations, intercompany transactions, and equity eliminations**Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Leadership skills and effective leadership behaviors \*\*for leadership and some individual contributor roles\*\** Analytical problem-solving, Systems thinking, Process optimization* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong work ethic* Capable of making good judgments/decisions* Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with all levels of the organization* Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment* Proactive mindset* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task* Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external* Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization* Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture**Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots* Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting* Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.* With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception* Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others* Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad* Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and toolsAirtron is an equal opportunity employer.
