Our client, in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting capital investment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Oversee capital investments related to fixed assets, including relocation and optimization of existing assets or procurement of new assets. Manage projects from conceptual studies through to project closeout, ensuring all phases meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate project success. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout project execution. Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and operational excellence. What's Needed?
Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. 1-3 years of significant experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work onsite in Waverly, IA, with occasional travel for factory acceptance testing and equipment evaluation. Experience in project management, plant design, equipment procurement, and process engineering. Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with knowledge of regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment. What's in it for me?
