Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Lead and schedule a team through the planning and execution of project segments, ensuring accurate project timelines and coordination with development and technical support groups. Develop large-scale PLC programs, HMI systems, vision systems, and servo systems independently with minimal supervision. Collaborate with design, engineering, technicians, plant personnel, and external vendors to ensure successful design, fabrication, and assembly of manufacturing equipment. Contribute to cost estimating for control engineering aspects of major capital projects, monitor project budgets, and manage project expenditures. Continuously improve departmental processes, standardize controls technology and programming practices, and analyze field issues to develop and implement design improvements. What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience supporting or working within dynamic manufacturing environments. Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment. Proficiency with electrical control system design and CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. Experience with Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix5000/Studio 5000), HMI systems (FactoryTalk View Studio ME/SE), robotic programming (Fanuc, Omron, Staubli), and vision systems (Cognex).
