Job Title
Production Support Engineer
Location Wilmington, Delaware; Omaha, Nebraska; Austin, Texas
Pay Range $55-$65 per hour, w2
What's the Job?
Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, automate, and maintain critical enterprise application platforms in production.
Involve in various change deployments for application enhancements or to fix issues reported by users.
Support in the resolution of incidents and problems, ensuring effective problem-solving techniques are applied.
Perform deep dive application reviews and provide feedback to enhance the quality of application code artifacts.
Assist with data processing and troubleshooting activities alongside L2 support.
What's Needed?
3+ years of solid experience as an application production support engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment.
Strong understanding of Linux environments and various operating systems (e.g., RedHat Linux, AIX, Windows).
Experience with log parsing technologies like Splunk and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
Hands‑on scripting experience using shell, Perl, PowerShell, or Python for automation purposes.
Good understanding of ITIL concepts and experience in service delivery processes including Incident Management.
