Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery and/or management of congenital cardiac patients to join our surgical APP team. Incoming APP will be involved with congenital CV surgical cases as part of a highly-specialized team in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate in the care and medical decision making for preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative patients at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St Vincent Indianapolis and the Children’s Heart Center. Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the cardiac care unit. Order, perform, and interpret imaging, data, and labs. Perform procedures, such as temporary pacing wire and chest tube removal. Navigate and create records in the patient chart using the Sunrise Clinical Manager and AthenaHealth EMR systems. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
