Responsibilities
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all alcoholic beverages, food and beverage menu items.
Work with bartenders to ensure all necessary supplies are stocked throughout events.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, hotel standards, and local laws.
Provide high‑quality bar sets, service, and presentation.
Respond promptly to guests’ requests, creating a memorable experience.
Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
Assist housepersons with setup and breakdown of banquet bar areas as needed.
Qualifications
Hands‑on food and beverage knowledge with a comprehensive, working knowledge of hospitality.
Willingness to work flexible hours during busy times and high‑profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Highly developed customer service skills, friendly demeanor, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred: Minimum of relevant banquet bar experience in a large convention hotel.
