The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and shipments meet quality standards before being accept into inventory. This role goes beyond basic verification and requires the expertise to perform complex inspections, document, and report non-conformance issues. The QC Inspector II also performs other assignments as needed by the job and the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform comprehensive visual and quality inspections on a wide variety of incoming materials and components. Reject shipments that fail to meet quality specifications and process non-conformance reports. Verify the quantity and type of items received and cross check purchase orders, repairs and packing lists with CMS ERP system. Perform and document advanced inspections and tests on received products, materials, and components. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store material safely during receiving process. Perform data entry to accurately record receipts in the inventory management system, including barcode scanning. Assign appropriate bin or storage locations for received items. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to Warehouse management team, procurement, and other relevant teams. Generate and process Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) according to standard procedures. Take pictures of damaged inbound products for accurate reporting and vendor communication. Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations in the execution of receiving and inventory duties. Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations and team objectives. QUALIFICATIONS 1–2 years of warehouse or receiving experience Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and inventory processes Attention to detail and problem-solving skills PHYSICAL REQUIRE MENTS Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Use of warehouse equipment and tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks). Visual acuity for inspections and documentation. If this position requires access to export-controlled technology and technical data, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations and or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, any offer of employment is contingent upon Chromalloy’s determination, in its sole discretion, if any additional authorization for the employee to access such technology is required and obtainable in a manner that meets its immediate business needs prior to beginning work.
