This role is open to employees residing in specified states and offers remote flexibility with occasional in‑office presence. Candidates must be located within a suitable driving distance of a local facility.

Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience managing Inside Sales teams with a focus on business development, including strategic prospecting and cultivating new partnerships across multiple sales verticals.
Broad understanding of Inside Sales operations and business development strategies within B2B environments, ideally in distribution or related industries.
Skilled in leveraging CRM systems and data analytics to segment markets, prioritize leads, and guide performance‑based decisions.
Experience implementing outreach strategies that build long‑term customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
Demonstrated success in coaching and developing sales talent to excel in prospecting, consultative selling, and closing new business.
Familiarity with diverse customer segments and buying behaviours across multiple industries, including procurement and operational decision‑making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departments.
Job Summary Responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of an inside sales team. Provide high‑level customer service while maximizing sales and gross profit. Ensure customers receive prompt and efficient service. Maintain profitability through report analysis, identification of trends, issue resolution and implementing solutions.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Oversee the inside sales process, including reviewing sales orders, quotes, inquiries about product availability, and other sales/service related questions; administer guidelines for consistent quoting.
Support, track, and measure all inside sales initiatives; monitor sales and delivery plans for the team.
Research and prepare sales orders and quotes for customers according to specifications and information provided; provide reliable information on product specifications, suitability, pricing and availability.
Ensure associates receive training in computer systems, sales and operations SOPs, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Assist associates in resolving problems related to customer service, product availability, pricing, warranties and product delivery; follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Follow up on all sales orders to ensure full shipment/fulfilment; review daily reporting and expedite customer delivery needs.
Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution when an outside salesperson is not available; contribute to add‑on sales by maintaining high product knowledge; attend all assigned product training.
Observe and evaluate performance, provide instruction, and assign duties; provide coaching and development for sales acumen enhancement and team engagement.
Nature and Scope

Achieve planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
Manage a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervise support staff.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area; unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about; occasional light lifting may be required.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience BS/BA in a related discipline; 7+ years of experience in a related field; may require certification. An advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
